Urbana Adult Education offers free classes to adults age 16 and over who are no longer enrolled in a regular school. Free classes include reading, writing, math, and English from beginning levels to high school level. High school completion may be achieved through high school credits, the A.P.L. High School Diploma Class, or the G.E.D. Program. Other free classes include English as a Second Language, Certified Nursing Assistant Program, Office Careers Training and computer classes. In addition, Urbana Adult Education offers a Community Education Program with more than 100 enrichment and skill development classes. A tuition fee is charged for these classes.
