Program/Service Notes:

A student-run volunteer organization at the University of Illinois, VIP dedicates its volunteers and resources to serve the Champaign-Urbana community. Sixteen service projects work with about 100 social service community organizations and agencies in Champaign-Urbana. Volunteers are paired with children as mentors, recruit donors for blood drives, provide companionship for senior citizens, and perform many other acts of service in the community. Projects include: Animal Allies, Arts Outreach, Best Buddies, Blood, Community Justice, Day Care, Environmental , Friendship, Health Needs, Hunger and Homelessness, I-vote, Public Relations, Recreation, Senior Citizens, Social Empowerment, Special Projects, and tutoring.
