The COMMUNITY ACTIONPROGRM provides grants and loans for housing rehabilitation in rural areas of Champaign County. It also provides housing counseling to low-income households. Depending on availability of funds, RPC helps homeless or near homeless persons with first month rental payments and may help with past due rent. It provides information, referral and advocacy for low-income families and seniors, training for family daycare providers, and a career mentoring program for middle and high school students. Post-secondary education scholarships for qualified low-income students are available. RPC administers the Champaign County HEAD START PROGRAM.This information was last updated on 12/09/2008
