Program/Service Notes:

The ALMA Society is a non-profit national and international search and support organization that supports adoptees' rights and assists adult adoptees and biological relatives to find each other through a national reunion registry data bank, a computerized system to aid in searches. It also works to educate the public as to the problems of sealing birth and adoption records. Membership is limited to adoptees 18 and over, family members searching for adoptees who are now adults and others who have been separated from a birth relative through adoption or divorce. There is a one-time $50 registration fee. Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope for information and a registration form or download the registration form from the web site.
