La Leche League is an international non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. It offers informal discussions open to any woman interested in breastfeeding. Pregnant women are encouraged to attend. Meetings are for mothers and children only. Meetings in Urbana are held monthly on the 2nd Monday at 6:30 pm. at Urbana Free Library-Auditorium. And on the third Wednesday of the month, 10:00 am.-11:00 am. at the Developmental Services Center, 1304 W. Bradley Ave. Champaign. Membership fee for LA Leche League International is $25, but non-members may attend meetings. Lending library available. Website: www.lalecheleague.org
