All Kids is a state health insurance plan offering health care coverage to children through age 18 and pregnant women. Call for an application, visit the nearest office of the Illinois Department of Human Services, a local health department, a Woman, Infants and Children (WIC) site, a participating hospital or clinic, or download the application from the Web site: www.kidcare.illinois.com. The Helpline will direct you to the nearest location. Eligibility is based on family size and income. Children cannot be denied for pre-existing conditions. In Champaign County, the following agencies distribute and assist with filling out All Kids applications: Illinois Department of Human Services, Developmental Services Center, Frances Nelson Community Health Center.
