This is a federally-funded local agency providing job search assistance and career training sponsorship for low-income youth, adults and laid-off (dislocated) workers. Through the One-Stop Career Center, customers can access services through system partners like Parkland College, Urbana Adult Education, DSC, and Division of Rehabilitation Services, and IDES/Unemployment Insurance - Reemployment Services. Registered youth ages 15 to 21 years of age participate in year-round activities or program elements to help prepare them for the workforce. Adults and dislocated workers can access job search assistance through the Job Club. The Illinois workNet Center is universally accessible to all that wish to access job search related Web sites on the Internet or to those who wish to review a variety of books, brochures, and publications. Service area includes Champaign, Ford, Iroquois and Piatt Counties.
