The Child Care Resource Service is part of the statewide network of child care resource and referral agencies and serves Champaign, Douglas, Iroquois, Macon, Piatt and Vermilion counties. The CCRS: 1) provides families seeking child care with a list of local child care options and information on how to select quality care and provides access to the "Back-Up Solutions" child care providers, 2) supports child care providers with training opportunities and resource development, 3) maintains current local data on child care supply and demand, and 4) administers the state Child Care Assistance Program which offers financial assistance for child care to qualifying families.
