Carle Home Services include Carle HomeCare, Hospice and Infusion Services. HOMECARE - Registered nurses, certified home health aides, medical social workers, physical, occupational and speech therapists work together to provide wound care management, chemotherapy, intravenous drug therapy and other services for patients living at home in Champaign, Coles, Douglas, Edgar and Vermilion Counties. HOSPICE - When life expectancy is limited, patients often wish to spend the remainder of their time at home in familiar surroundings with the people they love. For those patients, as well as their caregivers, Carle Hospice provides the staff and medical support to make that wish a reality. INFUSION SERVICES - Allows patients to recover at home while receiving much-needed assistance with intravenous drug treatments. The Infusion Services staff provides patient/family education, coordinates drug compounding, assists patients with infusion and monitors patient progress -- tracking treatment and lab results and conferring with physicians. Care Home Services are licensed by the State of Illinois, certified to receive payment from Medicare and Medicaid and are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.This information was last updated on 09/29/2009
